BUMP-TOP PISTONS 12010- P8612 FOR THE L28 L28E ENGINES
1981 to 1983 280ZX Non-USA bump-top pistons 12010- P8612 for the L28 L28E engines These were only available in the U.S. from Nissan Motorsports, but were OE on some models of the European 280ZX's Size is 86mm, which is STD for the L28, but they can be used in many other L-series engines with the proper calculations and machine work The bump on top displaces approximately 2 cc's, and can be machined off to make them totally flat on top by any competent automotive machine shop Pin height is the same as all other L engines, 38.1mm These Genuine Nissan pistons are NLA from Nissan 6x pistons 6x pins 6x rings CLICK ON PHOTO TO SEE LARGER PHOTO PART: ZEX40 NO LONGER AVAILABLE

A NORMAL U.S. SPECIFICATIONS BALANCE TUBE FOR THE 240Z HAS ADDITIONAL LUGS AND PORTS FOR EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES. THE ADDITIONAL DEVICES COULD INCLUDE THE EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION VALVE, THROTTLE OPENER CONTROL SYSTEM, AND A NON-RETURN VALVE FOR THE AIR PUMP.
